Infant Program

Our teachers use a variety of methods to help the children learn about their Savior.

Each infant in our care has a schedule planned each morning according to that child’s regular routines established at home and based on conversations and written communication from parents.

Infants spend time each day on their tummies and backs to increase their strength. As they grow, teachers work to develop sitting, standing, and walking muscles as well as grasping and holding with fingers and hands.

Teachers plan daily to stimulate the senses of the infants through toys, music, and social interaction. They spend time each day, as weather permits, taking walks in strollers and enjoying God’s creation.

We use gentle, caring voices, reassuring faces, and positive reinforcement to provide a feeling of being welcomed, feeling joys in reaching new milestones, and being loved.
